THE NEXT ADDED 100 MILLION AMERICANS: PART 20

By Frosty Wooldridge, www.newswithviews.com

THE NEXT ADDED 100 MILLION AMERICANS

Part 20: Taking it to the limit

How far down a broken glass-filled path would you travel if you were barefoot? How long could you eat contaminated meals before you suffered food poisoning? How far could you travel in the desert without water? How long would you last driving your car 100 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone in a city? How far are you willing to take anything to the limit?

As we add 100 million people to America by 2040, how far will this nation continue growing past its limits? Consider today we already suffer the following consequences before we add the next 100 million people.

• 40 percent of America’s rivers and 46 percent of its lakes are too polluted for fishing and swimming in 2007.

• 7,700 species in our country stand at risk for extinction from habitat loss.

• Half of the continental United States no longer supports native vegetation since people have altered the terrain significantly with crops, farms, roads, malls, housing, airports and endless development.

• More than half the U.S. population lives within 50 miles of the coast.

• The United States continues as the third fastest growing country in the world.

• The U.S. absorbs more environmental refugees than all other nations combined. How many annually? One million legally and two to three million illegally add themselves to America each year.

• At 300 million, U.S. citizens burn 20 million barrels of oil daily. At 450 million, they will burn close to 30 million barrels per day for energy.

• The average American uses 100 gallons of water daily. It takes over 1,000 gallons of water to produce one pound of beef.

• 105,000 cows are killed daily to feed U.S. population. Average of 20 million chickens killed for American consumption daily.

• 50 percent of all wetlands in the United States have been destroyed.

With the few examples above, do you see the picture? Do you see where the United States is headed? Population drives our land use and development.

“Carrying capacity” is the amount of land it takes to sustain a given species.

In 1997, the world exceeded its ecological carrying capacity by 39 percent which equals 2.3 billion people. That explains why 2.3 billion humans live in misery, suffering and human degradation.

Population-energy expert Dell Erickson brings a more sobering aspect of carrying capacity and ‘ecological footprint’. He said, “If the world’s average ecological footprint in 1997 were the goal, the result would be that the world could support 3.5 billion inhabitants. The UN currently projects the world’s population at 2050 to be nine to ten billion. In order for that population to maintain long term sustainability, the highest average possible living standard would be an ‘ecological footprint’ approximately .8 percent—about the living standard and footprint of today’s profoundly unfortunate Ethiopia.”

Would you like to live at the standard of living of present day Ethiopia just because you have no other choice?

If we take this next added 100 million Americans to its logical conclusion, every consequence noted in this series multiplies by 100 million. That’s on top of the fact that another three to four billion people will be added to the globe. Once they arrive, they won’t vanish. They will impact everything.

The most astounding aspect of what’s happening to the United States stems from national denial. It pulses through our president, Congress, governors and citizens. Environmental groups like Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Nature Conservancy, Audubon, Natural Resources Defense Council, Blue Bird Society and dozens more try to ‘save’ animals, land and habitat. All their work means nothing when they won’t address overpopulation. They’re wasting their time, money and efforts. Nothing will be solved if our population dilemma isn’t solved.

Once we double to 600 million, we’ll grow toward 1 billion. India and China proved they could do it. Bangladesh proved it could cram 129 million people into a landmass the size of Ohio. They took it to the limit; however, their societies allow the least human dignity, freedom and opportunity. They suffer so many consequences they can’t solve them. Thus, their citizens live in a kind of living lockdown.

How far can we explode, speed and trample our country by taking our population to the limit? Why do we want to take it to the limit when we know the limit grows deadlier by the day? If these questions continue being ignored, our children will be forced to live out the results.

Therefore, what is your responsibility to the future? Every time I turn around I hear, “I want to see my kids to have a better life than I did.” If we allow this next 100 million people added to this country, your children don’t stand a chance for a better life.

Ultimately, knowledge empowers us to take intelligent action. Conviction without action is worthless. Conviction with action changes history.

What YOU can do for a better future for your country:

We are proud and dedicated residents of a fragile Republic -- the U.S.A. Our history is legend. Government in a Republic is not a spectator sport. It means you must roll up your sleeves, jump in and take personal and collective action. Of course, you could let a dictator take over and do everything for you, but that path would give you Cuba, China, North Korea and other unsavory examples.

Get smart. To stop this invasion locally and nationally: join (http://www.numbersusa.com) for free and you can join (http://www.fairus.org) and (http://www.thesocialcontract.com)

For readers of this column, I present you with an opportunity: If you appreciate the gravity of what this nation faces by adding 100 million people in 33 years, please write me with ideas and/or producers on television who might interview me. I need phone numbers, emails and addresses of TV/radio and newsprint leaders across the country. I will speak on behalf of all Americans and expose to the general public what this nation faces if we continue on this overpopulation path. Write me at frostyw@juno.com with your ideas.

To stop Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid from giving a blanket amnesty to 30 million law-breakers, we MUST take action. Call for a full 10 year moratorium on ALL immigration. We need time to secure our borders (build attractive, tall-humane physical fences, PLUS virtual fences) and to get our house in order. THIS IS URGENT ! During the most recent 12-month period, we were joined by nearly 2 million legal immigrants PLUS more than 3 to as many as 6 million illegal aliens. The “official” numbers are grossly, intentionally understated by the Department of Commerce (Census Bureau)… to fool you.

We must 'sour the milk.’ Bring out your points in the call:

1. America cannot support another 100 million people added to our country in 34 years, i.e., water crisis, resource depletion, air pollution, gridlock, loss of quality of life, etc.

2. America cannot support lawbreakers being given citizenship.

3. America must maintain our English language as primary, period.

4. America wants only legal immigrants who play by the rules, and speak English.

5. America's working poor deserve a chance at jobs taken by illegals.

6. America already has too many people. I support a 10 year moratorium on all immigration.

7. Americans must maintain our high-quality public schools for our children.

8. We can no longer tolerate 350,000 or more expensive birthright citizens (anchor babies) annually, that subtract from our own citizens.

9. Voluntary repatriation is a great thing; Attrition through enforcement by stopping their ability to wire money home, obtain rental housing and jobs will encourage early departure.

10. An amnesty failed in 1986 (gave more than 3 million carte Blanc citizenship), and it will only be worse today (as proposed, SB-2611 will give citizenship to 30 million). We're being displaced out of our jobs and out of our own country.

Call your elected leaders with relentless and never-give-up passion.

To stop illegal aliens in your community, you may follow the course of action taken by Mayor Louis Barletta of Hazelton, PA. He offers a bomb-proof ordinance that takes business licenses away from those who hire illegals. He legally halts landlords from renting to illegals. Without work and without housing, illegals cannot stay in your community. Check out his web site for instructions: SmallTownDefenders.com
